U7S FIRST LEAGUE EXPERIENCE
A HEAD START FOR THEIR FIRST SEASON
Our U7’s pre-season training programme looks to provide our youngest league players with a head start for the upcoming season, with training sessions specifically
designed to develop the players’ understanding of the game in a more competitive setting. We put these training sessions to the test with
competitive friendly fixtures arranged throughout the term.
OUR U7S PRE-SEASON PROGRAMME
At United Dragons, we appreciate that it can be a little daunting for our players when experiencing their first league matches. That is why we have designed our U7s Pre-Season training programme to give our players a head start by providing:
2-4 competitive matches against other local teams
Coaching from those that will lead and manage league fixtures next season
Fun and engaging sessions designed to develop technical, tactical, psychological, physical and social skills
Training sessions that explain the age-appropriate rules and regulations of the game
Team-building exercises designed to foster strong relationships
Our U7s Pre-Season Programme gives your child the best start to their grassroots footballing journey.

U7s 24/25 LEAGUE SEASON
U7s Regents Park Youth League (London)
The U7’s Regents Park Youth League matches take place fortnightly on a Saturday (during the season) kicking off at either 09:00 or 10:00. The league takes place in the picturesque location of Regents Park from September through to April and is a fantastic way for the players to apply and demonstrate all of the skills they have learned in training in a fun yet competitive game scenario against local opposition!
Our U7's are the youngest age group that are able to participate in League Games and include:
Fortnightly Games
Introductory format for U7s (smaller pitches, smaller goals, non-competitive environment)
6 a-side (to maximise touches on the ball and game experience)
40-minute games
Based at The Hub in Regents Park

Preference will be shown to our U7s players to have our attended our Pre-Season Programme.
U7s Watford Friendly League (St Albans)
The U7’s Watford Friendly League matches take place weekly on a Sunday (during the season) most commonly kicking off between 10:00am - 12:30pm. The league includes teams across South Hertfordshire and North London and runs from September through to May, it offers a fantastic way for the players to apply and demonstrate all of the skills they have learned in training in a fun yet competitive game scenario against local opposition!
Our U7's are the youngest age group that are able to participate in League Games and include:
Weekly Games
Introductory format for U7s (smaller pitches, smaller goals, non-competitive environment)
5 a-side (to maximise touches on the ball and game experience)
40-minute games (two 20 minute halves)
