UD FEB 2022 LEAGUE UPDATE

The month of February has been a relatively quiet one for UD, due to the February half term, however we did have a total of 22 games and we were treated to some spectacular moments!

With the league season approaching its final month, it’s time to turn our attention to the cup. There is something special about cup competitions; the drama, the unpredictability, the added pressure that comes with knock out competitions. I am so proud to say that our teams have risen to the occasion and currently we are chasing multiple trophies in various different age groups.

Our U8 white team have reached the semi final after an emphatic 6-0 win over Vale FC.

The U10 blue team came away with a cool, calm and collected 3-0 win in their quarter finals whilst the red team brushed aside Rugby Portobello 6-0.

Our U13 boys team are not only top of the league and on the cusp of bringing back the league trophy, they are also in the Final of their cup competition, the boys are on the brink of making UD history!

The U11 white team have a mega semi final clash in March, after winning their quarter finals.

The U13 girls secured their spot in the semi finals with a shut out victory against Brent Cross, and finally our U9 girls team are safely though to the semi finals after coming through their game in stylish fashion.

With so many of our teams representing UD so brilliantly, it would be wonderful to see as many of our supporters, parents, boys and girls come down and support our teams in what is going to be a busy month in March.

Our boys and girls have already exceeded our expectations and they continue to push the boundaries. As we approach the final month of the Regents Park League, I would like to give one last push for everyone to turn up, play, have fun and compete to the best of everyone’s ability!
